The Climate Change project has been running successfully in schools in the East Region for a number of years now.
Schools are encouraged to develop activities and research projects related to climate change and how it will affect our every day life and how we can help to support the current agenda for climate change in the local area.
There are now case studies available showcasing excellent work in both primary and secondary schools with may teachers incorporating the activities into the curriculum on an annual basis.
There is a small grant available to support schools with the administration of the work to be carried out and contacts for industry experts and specialists in this field to come in and talk to the pupils during the research part of the project and help and support the schools with real life examples and experiences.
