Providing support today to the Engineers of tomorrow

Engeneration aims to provide students between the ages of 13 and 19 years old with additional context for STEM learning, through a dedicated website containing careers advice, profiles, video case studies and learning materials to bring the world of engineering and technology to life.

Engeneration members receive:

  • A monthly e-newsletter packed with the latest news, articles and competitions
  • The opportunity to interact with engineers from a broad spectrum of industries. They can "Ask An Ambassador" questions about engineering and get advice from our panel of expert
  • Access to 'Engineering Insights', a range of learning materials designed to explore some wider issues in engineering

How can you join?

Membership is free and available to all students of STEM qualifications. Joining is easy, with an application form that can be returned by freepost. Schools promoting Engeneration are welcome to request visits from IMechE Ambassadors who can take part in classroom activities, give talks on engineering and encourage students to consider pursuing STEM careers.

Upon joining, students receive a welcome pack which contains their log-in details for the website and a careers brochure "Think Mechanical Engineering". Download a copy as well as the Engeneration brochure.
