Climate Change Showcase Event

Climate Change...Your future is a project funded by the Scottish Government which aims to inform school children and the wider community about the impacts of climate change. As part of teh project a showcase event was held at Howgate Shopping Centre, Falkirk. Eight schools in East Scotland took part in a climate change project. and some the work completed by the schools was on display at the event.

Adults and young people were given the opportunity to take part in a climate change quiz, experiment with solar panels and examine ice age fossils.

The event was extremely well attended and a great day was had by all. The team is looking forward to the next event in Edinburgh which will be held later this year.
