Robokid: Plugged into Technology

Primary School pupils have a tremendous enthusiasm for the ideas of science and technology. Building on this enthusiasm is one step towards helping to stabilise and build on the number of pupils enrolling in higher science and physics.

Robokid is a three year robotics programme. While it is being funded by an ESRC grant, Heriot Watt University is proving technical input and volunteer teachers are helping to develop classroom support material.
