NSEW 2011 Grant Opportunity
The British Science Association is once again offering a Grant Scheme for Scotland to stimulate and support science, engineering and technology events and activities for NSEW 2011.
Ineos Science Event
On Tuesday 10th November Ineos will be hosting a Science Event at the Ineos Exhibition Centre, Grangemouth. The event will be attended by S5 and S6 pupils from the surrounding local High Schools.
The pupils will hear a variety of topical science and technology presentations from the following speakers:
- Prof Colin Pulham, University of Edinburgh Department of Chemistry
- Mr I Little, Head of Research and Development, Ineos
- Dr Gary Whittington, Managing Director, Global Web Limited
The pupils will also have the opportunity to attend the following workshops:
- Ineos Engineers of the Future
- Halcrow Nuclear Planning Senario
- Global Science
- Food
- The Science of Colour
