School Starpack Awards 2010

Designed to encourage students to take up a career in the exciting world of consumer packaging design, the Schools Starpack awards form part of The Packaging Society's Starpack Industry Awards programme which also includes the Starpack Industry Awards and Student Starpack Awards for Colleges and Universities.

The Starpack Awards scheme has been running since 1960 and celebrates its 50th year in 2009. The Schools Starpack Packaging Design Awards include four exciting challenges for 2010. A variety of prizes will be offered to winning schools including financial rewards up to £500. Entrants have until March 5 to register their entry and until March 18 to get their work in.

The briefs provide excellent opportunities for Key Stage 3, 4 and AS level, individual or joint activity (Brief C only) and extension activities for after-school clubs. A summary of the brief is provided below:
