Techno Games 2010

Techno Games 2010 is scheduled for Monday 1st of March 2010 and will take place in the Atrium of the St Brycedale Campus of Adam Smith College, St Brycedale Avenue KY1 1EX, being presented once again by Ian Watts of Robot Wars fame who remains our much valued 'Roboteer in Residence'.

This event is sponsored by IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and Raytheon Systems Limited to who we are very grateful.

Participants will be pupils from 35-40 primary schools from across the length and breadth of Fife. Attending school teams will be asked to the create mini Robot Wars style fighting robots and subsequently trial their designs in a series of competitions by.

Ian Watts will, in addition to leading the children in their build and compete activities, also be demonstrating a range of unusual large robots, including the famous 'Big Brother' a winning robot from the real TV Robot Wars Series as well as an original Dalek from Series 1 of Dr Who.

You will be made very welcome if you wish to look in on the day's activities and even more welcome if you can spare some time to lend a hand.
