The 2010 Edinburgh International Science Festival kicked off on the 3rd April and goes on for 2 weeks until the 17th April.

So, come down to the City Art Centre this week! They've got scientific fun for all the family. Brand new events for 2010 include the chance to make your own scabs at the Blood Bar; and the all-new lifesaving ER surgery. They also have the One Show's science expert Marty Jopson saving the planet with bread, booze and biofuels, Marcus du Sautoy predicting the future using mathematics and Dr Raj Persaud putting Graham Farmelo in the psychiatrists chair.
